Return to Book 24 Contents Page Return to Lambeth Wills Index PageThe Will of PHILIPE DE MORTEMER COUNTESS DE LA MARCHE dated 1 November 1378 was made at Plomestede [ Plumsread ] but there are no bequests to any place in Kent. She wished to be buried in the Coventual church of the Priory of Bustalesham Mountagn (Berks) and she made William Wykham Bishop of Wyncester her supervisor. Proved 10 February 1381 "before William elect of Canterbury in the chapel of our manor of Lamheth". (189b Courteney).
