ALAN HUMBLETON, rector of the parish church of Rowkynge. Written in the Feast of St. Edmund King and Martyr 1407.To be buried in the church of All Saints at Maydenston. To Robert my brother and Matilda my sister two marcs between them if either die then between their sons and if the sons are not alive then in alms to the poor. To Brother John Thorolde 6s. 8d. To Brother Thomas his ‘consocius’ 3s. 4d. To the convent of the Friars Preachers of Canterbury 6s. 8d. To the Convent of Boxley 6s. 8d. To Geoffry my servant 10s. and a dish. To the College of Vicars of York church for reparation of their houses two marcs. I leave to Walter 3s. 4d. To Sir William Rynans my special companion 40s. and I make him my executor. Witnesses Walter Dam, Thos Leche, Geoffry Bowne.
