WILLIAM DUNSTAPLE, vicar of the parish church of Derteford. 11 December 1404. To be buried in the chancel of the parish church before the high altar. I leave to a chaplain of honest conversation to celebrate a trental of St. Gregory for one whole year 9 marcs. To the Prioress and Convent of Derteford 40s. To be distributed to the poor on the day of my burial 20s. I leave for a marble stone for my burial place 30s. To William Rodle 10 marcs or goods and chatells to that sum. To Roger brother of the said William 100s. To each chaplain in the church of Derteford 40d. To John Glouere 20s. To the fabric (fabrice) of the church of Derteford two marcs. To David Oston 10s. Sir Thomas Gybbys 10s. To each chaplain from elsewhere (extraneo) and each brother coming to my exequies 12d. To Sir Thomas parish chaplain a blue gown and the said Sir Thomas is to be sustained until Christmas next. To Beatrice Goldham two nobles. 
To Marion Glover a young pig. To Richard Martyn six silver spoons. To William Cane six silver spoons. To Sir John Bathe a silver cup with cover for his labour. To John Martyn for his labour two marcs. To Thomas atte Coton for his labour two marcs. I wish that my executors or supervisors shall purchase lands and tenements to the right heirs of William Dunstaple my father, late mayor of Leycester to the value of four score marks in recompense and exoneration of my soul for those lands and tenements which I sold of the patrimony of the said heirs. I leave John Depyng 40d. I make executors William Rodele my kinsman and John Glover. Residue I wish them to expend for my soul. Supervisors Sir John Bathe, John Martyn and Thomas atte Coton. 
Proved 22 December 1404 (during vacancy of the See of Rochester due to delay after death of John de Bottlesham). On 7 March 1404 acquittance to John Glovere and William Rotheley executors. (221a Arundel I).
