JOHN FRAUNCEYS, Canon of Wells, Papal writer of the Papal Household, going towards the Court of Rome, 23 October 1411 and 13th year of King Henry IV. To be buried where Almighty God shall dispose. I leave to the fabric (fabrice) of my church of Saltwode 20s. To my chapel of Heth 20s. To the Abbess of the nuns of B. Mary, Wynton 40s. To the fabric of the church of Wells 13s. 4d. To my vicar of Wells 6s. 8d. I leave 20 marcs for two chaplains one to celebrate for a year in my chapel of Heth and the other in the church of St. Antony London at the altar of St. Katherine the Virgin where John Sauage my kinsman late was buried. To the Brothers of St. Anthony each 6s. 8d. To John Coli, chaplain 6s. 8d. To Sir Hugh chaplain 3s. 4d. I leave to Simon lying in hospital 3s. 4d. To the Carmelite Friars 20s. to pray for me. To the Friars Minors 20s, Augustine Friars 20s. To the Lord Archbishop of Canterbury "unam coppam longam de albo et beryll coopertam cum argento deaurato et pede de Argento et deaurato" and contained in a gold box. To the same Lord a tabula of gold to have me in memory. 
To Sir John Bath a silver gilt box (cassa) with gilt cover. To John Macclesfeld a box silver gilt with cover. To Sir Robert Fraunceys Knight my kinsman a silver gilt box with cover gilt. To Sir John Bollesore my kinsman the same (The word is cassa or tassa and may mean either a box or a goblet). To Agnes my sister 10 marcs. To Adam Irmongere husband of the said Agnes 20s. To John Macchesfeld a red bed embroidered and one beautiful coverlet of silk. To Adam chaplain of John Macclesfeld 20s. To Roger Straunge servant of the same John 20s., and to Robert his servant 3s. 4d. To William Botiller in the same house 3s. 4d. To Sir John Ryton my chaplain at Hethe 6s. 8d. To the parish of Saltwode 6s. 8d. To Sir John Drye, chaplain 20s. To Sir John Bollessore for his long and faithful service a ‘jorpa’ (?Jupa or open gown) of Scarlet with fur and hood, a red bed of worsted, embroidered with all belongings. 
All my goods not bequeathed to Sir John Bollessore, my special proctor, to be sold and the money distributed between the poor and chaplains to pray and celebrate for my soul, my father and mother and all faithful departed. Executors Sir Robert Fraunceys, Knight, and John Macclesfeld precentor of the House of St. Anthony and Sir John Bollesore clerk. 
I wish my executors to sell my tenement situated upon Leston outside the bridge of the Town of Heth between the sea (or marsh) and the bridge and distribute the money for my soul. ‘Volo quod ix panni auri ciprini de vna secta et campus rubeus vendantur. Item iij panni noui auri Lucam et campus rubeus et quartus pannus de ramscat’ vendantus in forma suprascripta’. I leave to Sir Thomas, rector of the church of St. Mary atte Hill, London 20s. because he was "perturbatus in brevi de premunire facias et perdidit bona sua in casu quod non redierit". 
Proved 18 February 1412 by John Macclesfeld and John Bollessore with power reserved for others. (162a Arundell II).
