LETICE who was wife of the ‘reverendi militis" Sir John KRYEL. Monday next after the feast of St. Matthew, Apostle, 1408. To be buried in the church of St. Thomas the Martyr of the monastery of Langdon. To the high altar of the parish church of Westynghanger* 6s. 8d. To the work (opus et fabricacionem) of the said church of Ostynghanger* three cows. To the work (opus) of the monastery of Langdon 20 marcs. I leave sufficient white cloth marked with a certain red cross (not stated for what purpose; probably to lay over her). I leave 5 wax candles to burn round me on the day of my burial each 10 lb of wax. I leave 10 torchys on my months day round my sepulture each 5s. Of which ten torches three to go to the Monastery of Langedon and 4 to the parish church of Ostynghangr and three torches to the parish church of Walmer. 
Residue to John Brikelesworth my son. I make William Kryell, John Brikelesworth and John Proude executors. 
The Will of Letice who was wife of Sir John Kryell Knight was proved 22 March 1408 "in the 13th year of our Translation". (104b Arundel II).
