To the work (operi) of the said church for my sepulture 30s. To Sir John parish chaplain there 2s., to Thomas the clerk 12d.
To Johanne my wife £5. To Johanne my daughter to her marriage £5, which I will that John Sate of Stebenhith shall have in his custody until she be of full age. To the work (operi) of the church of Blessed Mary of Chestelet 20d. To the work of the church of Reculver 20d. To the church of St. Nicholas in Thanet 20d. To Agnes the servant of the said John Sate 3s. 4d. To Juliana Clerk 20d. Residue to the said John Sate to dispose for my soul as he would I should do for him in like case. Executor John Sate. Dated at Stebunhith on 19 November Anno Domini supradicto Proved in the parish church of Lambethe and administration granted to John Sate. (39b Arundell II)
