My soul to Almighty God, Blessed Mary his Mother always virgin, Saints and Confessors and Bishops Daniel and Paulinus my patrons and All Saints. To be buried in the Cathedral Church of Bangor if it shall happen me to die there or near "in dextera parte Capelle sanctorum Johannis Baptiste et Euangeliste honorifice more pontificali xpaini". I leave to the said my Cathedral church a white mitre which is at Bangor with gloves (cirotecis) with roses of "perwls" to the use of my successors there Bishops. I will and leave that the roofs of my church aforesaid be completely repaired with ‘shingill’ and other things out of my goods according to the discretion of Sir Nigell Boudeby, Dean there and Thomas Legh "domicelli". I leave to that church and Saint Daniel a vestment for a priest of red cloth of gold with the arms of the Duke of Gloucester and I wish also they shall have ‘dalmatyks’ or tunicles similar for deacon and subdeacon and three copes of the same cloth and colour and that they be bought by my executors (Further gifts to Bangor).
Moreover if it happen me to decease near Crayford or twelve miles there from then I wish that my body may be buried before the image of St. Paulinus in the wall in the honourable manner aforesaid and if it be possible to be buried by the Reverend in Christ and Father John Bishop of Rochester to whom for this I leave a gilt standing cup and my ring with a bluish (glauco) stone. I will that my tenement next the gate of the Rectory of Crayford be placed in the hands of certain parishioners to their use by my executors to find a lamp burning before the image of St. Augustine for ever at Crayford. I leave to the parish church of Crayford a Cope price £3.
To Richard my brother and his sons and daughters to their good marriage £40. I leave to him one of my best horses and my robe furred with "Beuer". To Alianore his wife my pair of beads of ‘Ambur’ and 100s. to make alms and to pray for me and a ring with a squared saphire and "j karchef que erat Regine Johanne" and a Rochet to make to herself anything necessary.
To Alice my sister and her daughters to their marriage and her sons 70 marcs and my beads (preces) of coral with a golden tablet, so that the daughters have 20 marcs to their marriage. If they be dead then to Brothers William Ledes and Wm. Marchaunde. I leave to Johanne my sister in the Parts of the North towards her daughters marriages 20 marcs. To Nicholas Stodert my nephew to his marriage 20 marcs. To William Clyderowe my nephew my bay horse or its value and 100s. To Elianor alias Alyn my sister and her sons and daughters 10 marcs. To Robert Heygate a horse and deed of a mill and £3. To John Baylyf my chamberlain £5. To each other of my grooms 20s. and other lads 10s. To Sir John Hans 100s. to celebrate for me.
To the Friars of Ruthyn to pray for me £10. To the Friars of Bangor and of Llanwas 40s. To Thomas Derwynde and his sons and daughters £5. To Sir Nigel Bondely and "Thomas de Lego" for their labours each a gilt covered cup. To Master John Heygate "a ‘pair of decretals’ sextum librum et elementinas in vno volumine et exposicionem evangeliorum et epistolarum remitendo sibi septem libras". To Master John Houton my glossed psalter to pray for me. To John Grene, canon "mea decreta vnum habitum de meis et Reymundum" to pray for me. To Thomas Hute my book "cum signaculis argenteis" and 40s.
To Master Matthew Aysshton, Doctor of Laws, prepositus of Wyngham to pray for me £5. To William Derwynde, student at Oxford £7 a year, weekly, and my habit of "murrey in greyne" to pray for me. To Richard Baylton my servant one of my horses and £20. To John Badmerston 40s. a horse and a habit. To John Feld my clerk to study at Oxford 40s.
Other goods not given I place at the disposal of the "venerabilum vinorum" Richard Clyderowe de Romeney, my brother, Matthew Foucher mercer of London husband of the said Alice my sister Master Nigel Boudeley and Thomas de Legh, "domicelli" whom I make executors. Dated at London. I leave to Master Hugh Alkoc "bibliam meam versificatam" to pray for my soul and one of my habits and "Clementinas glosatas cum Johanne Andree et Willelmo". To Sir John Parker "par decretalium" which Master Richard Hormer of Oxford has price 30s. and 20s. to pray specially for my soul.
