William BULBET,  Will 1 January 1432

SIR WILLIAM BULBET, vicar of Hertlepe. I January 1432, seeing before me the imminent danger of death. To be buried at the entrance of the church of Hertlepe. I leave to Alice my sister a best gown with hood of ‘scarlette’. To Agnes daughter of the said Alice 6s. 8d. To Elizabeth her sister 3s. 4d. To Alice my sister 7 silver spoons. To John Makett guardian (custodi) of my body 6s. 8d. To the same John a lined gown and a shirt with one pair of breeches (bractarum) and one pair of shoes and all the usual garments of my body not otherwise left. 
I leave to the amending of a window in honour of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the said church of Hertlepe 40s. I leave to painting The Holy Cross in memory of the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ and in remission of my sins as honourably as it can be done. I leave to seven poor men of the parish of Rawnston seven pair of shoes. 
Residue to my executors viz John Nicholl of Rowchestr, John Gibbe of Vpchirche and John Atter Water of Hertlepe to dispose for me as they shall answer in the day of Judgment before the High Judge. 
Proved 27 January (1432) by said executors.
