ALAN LEUERTON, Rector of Harietesham, 2 December 1429. To be buried in the coventual church of The Holy Trinity of Motenden or in the conventual church of the Friars Preachers London, or where God pleases. To the ornaments of the high altar of Harietssham 40s. To the Exaltation of the Great Cross of the same church and painting the same 40s. Between poor persons of the said parish within a year after my death 20s. To the chaplain making my exequies and in my month’s day 6s. 8d. To the friars of the Carmelite Order of Aylesford 6s. 8d. To the Friars Preachers, minors and Augustines of Canterbury to each 6s. 8d. To Brother Henry London of the Order of Preachers 6s. 8d. To the Prior and brethren of the same House 20s. To the Friars Minors Carmelites, Augustinians and ‘lez Crouch Freris’ to each 6s. 8d. 
To John Forster Citizen and baker of London 20 mrc. To Elizabeth daughter of William Reed citizen and baker of London to her marriage 10 mrc. To John Cadman my servant 10 mrc. To William Blyton late chaplain of the parish of Herietsham to have me specially in mind in his prayers for my soul. Thomas and Agnes my parents, John Welhond my relatives benefactors and all faithful departed 10 marcs and one gradual and a little book called Brother Nicholas Bayard. To Margaret wife of Thomas Frere 5 mrcs. To Alan Frere my godson 20s. To Stephen Frere 6s. 8d. To Agnes and Johanne daughters of the said Thomas Frere 40s. To John Golde my godson and servant 40s. To Brother John Wardon 6s. 8d. To Brother Stephen Godwyn of Canterbury (Cantuarie) 6s. 8d. To Sir David, chaplain at le Charnel of St. Paul’s 6s. 8d. To each of my executors 40s. Residue to Arthur Ormesby of Surrey Esquire and Thomas Lebourn my executors and Sir John Soronden Prior of Ledes supervisor. Dated at London.
