ROGER RYE, 16 September 1425. To be buried where the High Trinity shall please. To the high altar of All Saints Canterbury 6s. 8d. To the necessary reparations of the same church 20s. To the reparation of the nave of the church of Stallesfeld 20 marcs. I pardon Robert my brother all debt. To each of the godsons of my name 20s. To Thomas son of Robert my brother 40s. To Richard Foxton 20s. I wish that 2000 masses be celebrated within a month after my death for my soul the souls of Seman de Tonge and my parents giving for each masse 2d. To Thomas Wolf 6s. 8d. I wish that my cup called "Bolle" be made into a chalice well and sufficiently ornamented with a shield of my arms and given to the church of Cherryng. Residue to my executors to dispose as they shall deem best. Executors: John Seintcler, Richard Sentcler, William Chilton and Wm. Barbour.
