STEPHEN EDMOND of the parish of Monketon in the Isle of Thanet. 12 April 1425. To be buried in the churchyard of Monketon. To the work (opus) of the said church 6s. 8d. To the high cross of the same church 12d. To each light in the said church 2 bushels of barley. To the light of Saint Mildred in the church of Menstre 2 bush: barley. To the light of St. James in the same church 2 bush: barley. to each son of Stephen Knollere 2 quarters of barley. To each son of Laurence Charlys one quarter. To John Perys 6 qrs barley. To Alice Oldelond one quarter. To Simon Bollyng one quarter. To Thos. Clerk 3s. 4d. To the brothers of the Order of Sandwich for a trental 10s. To each order of Friars in Canterbury for a trental. 
To each of my godsons a bush: barley. To Godeleve my wife all goods and chattels belonging to the hall and chamber. To a chaplain to celebrate in the church of Monketon after the death of the said Godeleve for a year 10 marcs, and in the church of Menstre for half a year 5 marcs. To the work (opus) of the church of Menstre after the death of Godeleve my wife 5 marcs. Residue to her and to Thomas Pawelyn and John Edmond my executors. Proved 20 May 1425 by Thomas Pawelyn with reserved power for the others. (383a Chichele I).
