RALPH ISLEP, chaplain of the chantry of Bukyngham in Christ Church Canterbury. 17 June 1420. To be buried in the cemetery of the Monks of Christ Church. To the Monks of the said Monastery 20s. To Richard Godmersham, penitenciary, 6s. 8d. To the fraternity of St. Nicholas at Estbrygge 6s. 8d. To Sir William Dangerville 3s. 4d. To Sir John More 3s. 4d. To Sir Robert rector of St. Alphege my brother a ‘banker’ with four ‘cusshins’. To my cousin (consobrino) William Barton my best girdle with knife (cultellis) and my bed with apparel. To the said William Barton a new gown with fur of rabbits and a surplice and a bow with arrows. To ‘Dompno’ John Elam a pair of Pater noster of ‘gete’. To Sara a cloak (armilausam). Residue to Robert Islep my brother and William Barton my executors and the Lord Prior of Christ Church, supervisor. Dated at Canterbury. 
Proved before John, Prior of Christ Church 13 September 1420 and administration granted to Wm. Barton. Robert Islep the other executor refusing. (336a Chichele).
