ROSA late wife of William RYKYLL, knight, 28 April 1418, with the licence and will of William Rikhyll my son, Richard Gyll and Henry Boydon of Kent, to whom by my writing dated before this my present testament I gave all my moveable goods, I make this my present will in this fashion etc. To be buried in the Cathedral church of Saint Andrew of Rochester in the Chapel of Blessed Mary where the body of my husband lieth. To the Prior to celebrate and pray for my soul and that of the said William 13s. 4d. To the Convent of the same church to celebrate and pray for our souls 40s. I leave 18 marcs for an honest priest to celebrate in the said chapel for our souls for two years, and £5 to be distributed to the poor for my soul and the said William. 
To Elizabeth daughter of Matilda my daughter a silver gilt cup, half of my vestments and ornaments of my body and of my chamber if the said Elizabeth shall live to be married and if she die then all to Matilda her mother, my daughter. To William Rikhill, John Rikhill, Thomas Rikhill and Nicholas Rikhill my sons and the said Matilda my daughter each a silver covered cup. If any die then the cup to their right heirs. To Johan Towdone my servant to her marriage £3. 6. 8. To Agnes Qwykman my servant to her marriage 20s. To certain servants 20s. at discretion of my executors. To Johan Stondyer to her marriage 20s. To the hospitals of Whitdych and St. Bartholomew in Kent each 6s. 8d. to pray for me. If any of these legacies are given by me in my life then the legacy so given ‘sit cassa’. Executors: William Rikhill my son Richard Gyll and Henry Boydon. 
Proved 27 August 1419 at Rochester by above executors. (321b Chichele I)
