John CRANE - Will 12 October 1415

John Crane, capellanus, Rector of the parish church of Haukhurste, Canterbury diocese, 12 Oct. 1415. I leave my soul to God, the Blessed Mary, Saint Laurence & all saints & my body to be buried in the chapel or chancel (in capella sive cancello) of Haukhurst. To the said church two vestments, one missal, one gradual, one ordinal & one processional. To each chaplain celebrating mass in the foresaid place on the day of my outgoing month’s mind & anniversary 12d as well religious as secular and to each poor person on those days who shall come & be present 2d. Residue of all my goods I will my executor dispose for my soul, and I ordain as my executors William Bernes, Robert Badecok, John Watte and Thomas Watte junior.
