Roger Pipar of the
paryshe of Hawkeherst yeoman, 13 Feb. 1558. To be buryed in the
churchyard of Hawkeherst at the southe syde of the same church at the
east syde of the porche. To the poore mens box of Hawkeherst 3s 4d. On
the daye of my buryall in breale & drinke & money amonges the
poor 26s 8d. At my monthes daye 20s.
To Wyllyam Pypar the sonne of Roberte Pypar of Hawkeherst on cowe in the
kepinge of Thomas Tucnyes. To Stephyn Pypar my godson when 21. To Roger
son of Stephyn Pypar. To George son of Steaphyn Pypar when 21. To
Steaphyn, Roger and George Pypar sonnes of Steaphyn Pypar aforesaid £17
when 21 which £17 came by the laste wyll & testament of Stephyn
Pypar there father. To Bettres Pypar my goddoughter. To Agnes Pypar
daughter of Edward Pypar my sonne. To Roger Pypar my godsone, sonne of
Andrew Pypar. To Elizabeth Stacye othorwyse calle Shether 3s 4d. To
Thomas Pypar sonne of Robarte Pypar my sonne 20d.
To all my chyldrens chyldren 12d. To Dennys Porter. To Mother Tye of
Bodyham. To Bettreys my daughter & to Dorathy my daughter £20 in
hands of Wyllyam Springett of Hawkeherst. All residue to my two
daughters and of my goodes to Thomas Pypar & Edmond Pypar my
executors.
Last will: To Thomas Pypar my sonne my howse at Pypeseden where I nowe
dwell with lands appertaining upon the Denne of Hensell and Pypsden to
hym & his heyres for ever. To Thomas Pypar my sonne all my landes
& tenements in Wodchurch, Warhorne & Orlyston, he to paye to
Andrew Pypar my sonne £30. To Andrewe Pypar my sonne on peace of lande
called Stroddes lyinge in Hawkeherst to hym & his heyres for ever.
To Edward Pypar my sonne an anuytye of fower pounde by the yeare in the
parish of Cransbroke out of the landes of John Hownedens. To Roger,
Stephyn & George Pypar sonnes of Stephyn Pypar £6 to be paid as
they come to the adge of on and twentye. To Everendens wydowe,
Vyssendens wydowe, Barnes wydowe & Hoppars wydowe 4s and too
busshels of wheate and too busshels of maulte.
To Elizabeth Peter whiche ys dwellinge wythe me 10s when 18. Wytenesseys
herof Steaphyn Springett, Nycholas Sloman, Thos Marten, Edward Dunke,
& Thos Syseley.
