Thomas Stretende of London, 8 September 1450 29 Henry VI – To be buried in the parish church of Saint Benedict at Pauleswharff.
To Robert Love 6s 8d, Thomas Waryn 6s 8d, John Hopper 6s 8d. John Skynner 6s 8d. To three maidens serving the said Thomas 6s 8d.
To Emmote my wife the utensils & hustlements of ‘howsold’ and residue.
Executors John Smyth, fishmonger of London & Peter Stretende my son.
Last will as to the disposition of my lands tenements etc in the parish of Sandeherst in Kent in which John Congeherst of Haukeherst, gentilman & Peter Waterman of Bodham, yoman & Thos Peche, husbandman, now deceased, are enfeoffed to my use.
The same to Emmot my wife & to remain to Peter my son & in default to Johan my daughter & in default to be sold for my soul, parents souls etc.
Proved 8 January 1450 and administration granted 1 August 1451. [PCC 19 Rous]
