Steven Hubberde of
Tenterden 20 Novr 1558, 1 Elizabeth. To be buried in churchyarde of
Tenterden. To poore people at my buriall 6s 8d.
To my suster Jone Hubbarde 10s. To my brother John Hubbarde myne Almon
Rivetts my sworde & my dagger. To my brother Robert Hubbarde my best
bowe & all my shafts. To Edwarde Aston my susters sonne 6d.
To my sonne Ricahrde Hubbarde two peces of golde that is an old Royall
& an olde noble to be delyvered to my brother Walter Bygge
incontynent after my decease to the use of my saide sonne. To my brother
John Hubbarde my best cloke & to my brother Robert Hubbarde my gray
cote.
To George Pellonde my graye cassocke. To Luke Aston my wives brother my
black coate. My executrice shall paie to the wif of John Homes 26s 8d.
Residue after my debts & an obligacon in which I & my brother
Walter Bigge stand jointly bounden to Wm Byffelde & George Maplesden
in £10 paid,
I give to Joane my wif & executrice & my brother Walter Bygge to
be my executor if she refuse. Thomas Aston of Tenterden overseare.
Witness: Thos Barrowe, Thos Hoigges, George Pellande & Wm Boxe.
Last will: concerning my right interest & revercion of one wyndmyll
wt the house & grounde in the parish of Roulvynden I will that John
Hubberde my brother have all the fee symple he to paie to John Sheder of
Ewherst £8 for a rent chardge out of the said Myll & to paie to my
brother Robert Hubberde £5, to Joane Hubberd my suster £5 according to
the last will of Richard Hubberde my father.
To Richard Hubberde my sonne £6.13.4 within one yere next after the
decease of Elionor Hubberd my mother. I will Walter Bigge my brother in
lawe have the custodie & keping of my said sonne Richard until
lawful age. Witness: Thos Barrowe, Thos Hogges, George Pellonde & Wm
Boxe.
