William John, 24 Henry VIII, 1533. To be buried in the churche where as I shall dye. Unto Saint George & Saint Christofer 4lb of wax in Tenterden church. This wille written wt myn owne hande whan I was hoole in harte and mynde thanked be God and our blissed lady & all the holy company of hevyn.
I make my wife Kateryn executrice & she shall have all the profite of all my londes lying in the towne of Tenterden in Kent.
Also that Kateryn Castell the doughter of Richard Castell shall have an acre of lande which lyeth at thende of the medowe I geve it her freely and hir father to be myn overseer of this wille & for his labour to have my raisset gowne & my best doblet. Per me Petrum Fenne, per me Thomam Jonys.
