Thomas Ilande of Tenterden, 23 Aug. 1529. To be buried in churchyarde of parishe churche of Saint Mildred, virgyn, in Tenterden. To mayntenaunce of Jesus masse in Tenterden 6s 8d: 20d a quarter.
To every of Kateryn Ilande & Joane Ilande my doughters £6.13.4 at their mariage. If they die then to my sonnes George and Christopher. I will my executors shall fynde my sonne Christopher to scole till he come to his age of 15 yeres olde &
I bequeth to him £20 & if he will be a prest then I will the £20 be paid unto him as he shall nede it to helpe to fynde him to his lernyng.
To George my sonn my fee farme called Holmeroode & he to kepe for his mother every yere two kyne wynter & sumer & 8 lood of loggs. To Petir Shorte all such money as Thomas Shorte hath of myn.
Residue to Kateryn my wif & George my sonne & to be executors. Witness: John Parker, Wm Hoges.
