John Strekynbold of Tenterden, 14 Septr 1505. To be buried in the parish church yard of St Mildred the Virgin of Tenterden. To the amending or reparation of the books of the same church 6s 8d. To the reparation of the Nave 6s 8d. To the light of the torches 20d.
All my goods & chattels to be divided into three parts 1 to be distributed by my executors for the health of my soul, the 2nd to Alice my wife, the 3rd in payment of those sums to my daughters which I have assigned in my will. Alice my wife, Bartholomew Foule & Thomas Syre I make my executors. [Latin]
Last will: Alice my wife to have all thoos messuages etc conteyned in deds for the joynter of saide Alice also the medowe called Harrowes mede & a piece of land somtime Wm Iden which I late purchased of John Downham. Also my messuages which the wedowe of Thomas Carpenter & Thos Sire nowe have to ferme. To my six doughters £120 by even porcions & every of my said doughters to have their payment in penys or penyworthis at their mariage or at their age of 20 yeres. If any die & be not maried before the said age her part to my sonne George.
