Thomas Cryor of the parish of St Clement in Hastyng. 26 March 1513. To be buried where God shall dispose. To the high altar of St Clement and high altar of Rolvynden. An honest priest to celebrate in parish church of the Blessed Mary of Rolvyngden at the altar in the chancel on the north side called ’Scotts chauncell’.
To amending noyous high way between Northyam church & Newinden bridge 20s. To Johana my wife 20 Semys of barley malt. John my son. Executors Nicholas Tufton, Gervase Mapysden, Richard Rogerson. [Latin]
Last will: of me Thomas Cryor of Hastyng 26 Marche 4 Henry VIII. 
To Johan my wif of my lands & tenements at Rolvynden 26s 8d yerely. My lands called White Rods and Brodfeld which John Asshemonton late occupyed to ferme and a pece of mershland thereto lying late Thomas Duks which W Frencheman hath to ferme, to be sold & 20 marcs for an honest preest to syng in the church of Rolvynden and reparacion of foule wayes in the burgh of Mayteham in Rolvynden. 
My lands at Farleigh purchased of John Hales of Chilham to bee sold to Richard Rogerson at 20 marks. Lands in Rye etc, Rolvynden, Hastings, Farlygh and Hontyngton.
