Stephyn Coper of
Tenterden dwelling with Roger Bytell, 19 August 5 Edw. VI. To be buried
in the churche yarthe of Tenterden and I will to the churche of
Tenterden 40s to be buried at the sought dore in the waye.
To my syster Florence £10. To my syster Johanne fyve marks. To my
syster Mary 40s. To my syster Agnes 40s. To my cosyn John Coper dwelling
in Tenterden 40s. To my servant Richard £4, a blewe cote, a yelow
dublet & yelowe hosse & 3 shirts & a Redd capp. To Myldrede
Lamkyne £10. To John Wylkooke my curtall horse & my saddell &
my brydell & my botes & sporres sworde & buckler & hatte.
To Robert Halles 40s & my rede hoose & redd dublet. To Stephyn
Houbarde 40s my grey horsse to Mr Brekenden at ------- for £4 yf he
will not be solde. To Roger Cosyn at -------- 40s. To Hoyges mayde,
Sares mayde & Brones doughter 20s. To Edwarde Caryar 20s & this
to be recyved of Stephyn Coper the taner at Alhalones next.
Witnes: Mr Lawles, Chrofer Baker & Thos Stace and furthermore he
hath myne 8 silver spones the whiche I give foure to my foure sisters
other thre to Stephyn Hubard, John Wilkock & Robert Hylls.
