William Wanstall 17 May 1476. To John Hysted
clerk of the church 6d, & to Thomas Caxon 6s 8d.
Son Henry 15 quarters of barley & residue to the barley
to Joan my wife.
Wife Joan one cow & a maser with a silver band; daughter
Agnes 5 silver cups. Son Henry 3 parts of my nets with the ropes, &
the fourth part to wife Joan.
All the movable furniture of my house to be divided equally
between Joan & Henry, except the great brewing tub shall remain to the
house.
A priest to celebrate 30 masses in the Church for my soul
& have 13s 4d.
Executors: Wife Joan & son Henry.
Wife Joan to have the tenement in which he lives & 2
acres of land & 3 of pasture near Palmers, until the next feast of St
Michael then to son Henry & his heirs. Son Henry two acres of land
near Goodryng until Michaelmas then to wife Joan for life then to my son.
My land on the Rype to be sold & the money for a priest
to celebrate for my soul.
