Thomas Holme 10 April 1504. Wife Joan 4 cows
& a calf. Daughter Margaret 4 sheep & a large cooking pot. John a
Den 20d. Residue to wife Joan.
Executors: John Bate, Simon Watts. Wife to have for life my
chief tenement with its lands, then to daughter Margaret & her heirs,
but if Margaret die then to be sold & the money in pious works &
to the repair of the church 40s/-.
Ten acres called Garenonts to be sold & from the money
20s/- to Joan the relict of Laurence Hamond & the residue for my soul.
All other lands to be sold & from the money 4 marcs (53s 4d) to my
wife Joan & to each executor: 3s 4d. Witnesses: Magister John Fysher
curate, John Gregory, Stephen Edryk.
