William GYLBERD - Will 6 April 1490

William Gylberd 6 April 1490. To be buried in the Church before the Image of St Gregory the Pope. To the Brotherhood of Holy Trinity 6 silver cups to make the cruets & 3s 4d.
   Wife Margarete all my household goods & 2 cows; also Thomas Godfrey my servant 20s/-. Residue after paying debts etc to wife Margaret who to be executor. Feoffees of lands etc: John Kempe & Laurence Eps.
   Messuage where he lives to be sold & the money disposed to a priest to celebrate in the Church for half a year for my soul, parents etc & the residue for his soul in masses & other pious works.
   Wife Margarete the tenement late obtained from Thomas Buntyng for her life then to be sold & £5 to the repair of the nave of the Church & residue in other good works for his soul. Witns: John Kempe, Laurence Gros, John Aylewyn.
