Thomas Grose 22 July 1501. To the Brotherhood of St James 6d. 
   Joan my mother 2 cows & 35 ewes; also Joan & Alice my wife my tenement between them, with all its lands, obtained from Wm Brokehyll & Elisabeth his wife of Midley. 
   Executors: wife Alice, with John Nicoll & Thos Edryk supervisors. Witnesses: John a Downe, Stephen Buntyng, Edward Maket.
