John Godfray, butcher 20 May 1485. To the Brotherhood of St John the Baptist 8d and the Mass of Jesus there 3s 4d. To each of the parish clerks 6d, reparation of the nave of the church 10s, to Margaret Tye 6 ewes & £4 & to each son of Thomas Godfray my brother 12d. 
  Vincent Godfray my son all my implements of a brewer & miller & £10. Residue of household goods equally to be divided between son Vincent & daughter Joan. Daughter Joan £5. Margaret the relict of Wm Thurbarne of St Mary Church 40s; John a Tye a cow hornyd & brown colour & £8. Ede the daughter of Vincent Godfray 4 ewes.
   Thomas Godfray my brother 40s; to Richard & William Taylor 6s 8d each & Thos Gros for his labours 6s 8d. Executors: John a Tye & Thomas Gros. Feoffees: Thos Bate junior & Thomas Godfray. 
   The chief tenement with lands annexed & 12 acres of land at the place called Byrdyskechyn to be sold & the money to provide a priest in the Church for half a year for my soul, Isabelle my wife etc and the residue equally between son Vincent & daughter Joan. Son Vincent to have that tenement in which he now lives & 4 acres of land at Smalewes with the growing crops.
