Stephen Iderykke 20 Feb 1508. To every Brotherhood within the same church as much as a brother doth pay for a year. An honest secular priest to sing in the church for my soul, parents etc for one year & have £7.6.8.
   Wife Margaret 8 kine, a wayn yoked a plough not yoked 100 ewes with the increase of a year all my money in my keeping & £6 in the hands of Simon Watts, All my household, 6 hogs all my geys (geese) 10 quarters of barley a quarter of oats, 3 acres of wheat 4 Bushels of benys & all my tarys, all my bacon & salt & my wearing clothes not bequeathed, a harrow, 2 yearlings, 6 budds 2 quarters of wheat 7 quarters of malt all my firewood & timber & 16 fleece of wool. To my wife & to her father 2 swans.
   Simon my brother the residue of all my benys, 3 quarters of barley 2 budds 20 ewes a plough not yoked & a harrow. Edmunde my brother a mare, stagge (sic) (?steere) 12 ewes & my violet gown. To Alice wife of John Bate senior a cow & 6/8 & to John Bate a steer; to each of my sisters 12 ewes & to every of my (their?) children a lamb; to Alice daughter of Robert Iderykke a coverlet 4 patters 4 ewes 2 lambs.
   To the Mass of Jesus 3s 4d also 6s 8d to be paid by 10d a quarter.
   William Kempe my father in lawe my next best gown & my uncle John Bate my next doublet. Alice Bate a gown every yard 3s 4d, & Margaret Bate 12 fleece of wool. John Bate the younger a quarter of barley.
   To a new Image of All Saints in Lydd 40s/-.
   Executors: Simon Watts, John Godfrey senior, & John Gregory, each to have 26s 8d & the residue to dispose for my soul, parents etc.
   Wife Margaret to have hold & occupy all my lands & tenements for 16 years then to the child she now is withal but if it die before 16 years be ended then Margaret to have for her life, afterwards to be sold & the money disposed for our souls. Witnesses: Sir John Walker, Wm Kempe, John Bate senior, Simon Iderykke.
