John a Downe 8 April 1505. Brotherhood of St Mary 6d. 
   Residue to be divided into 2 parts (1) to wife Joan at her choice (2) to Laurence & Peter my sons equally between them & wife & sons to pay 6s/8d for their parts. Executors: Laurence a Downe, Peter a Downe & Thos Collen.
   The chief tenement in which I live to son Laurence & his heirs paying to Joan £5 in the first 3 years.
   Three acres near the land of James Swanne & Roger Harlakynden to be sold & the money to
pay debts etc.
   My barn near the barn of Thomas Buntyng also 2½ acres between the lands of James Swanne & the relict of Martin Keysar to son Peter & his heirs, paying to Joan my wife 20s.
   Three acres called Louxts to son Laurence. Daughter Joan my tenement in which Thos Collen lives.
   Witnesses John Godfrey Thos Ray, John Robyns, John Gregory.
