Alexander Clerk 2 May 1491. To the reparation
of the Church 20d & to the Church of Mydle 3s 4d. A taper of 1lb of
wax to burn before St Mary Magdalen in Lydd church for one whole year.
Son John & daughter Agnes each 20 ewes & the 40 ewes
remain to ferm or to the use of John & Agnes until of lawful age but
if they die then 20 ewes to be sold & money disposed for my soul,
parents etc & the other 20 ewes to wife Margaret.
Wm Clerk my servant one mare called hawghes one year old
& one filly called a mare colt one year old. Residue to wife Margaret.
Executors: wife Margaret & John Godfrey senior.
