Robert Cokeram 21 March 1508. Buried in the Church of All Saints of Lydd. To the light of St Katherine 12d & Brotherhood of Allhallows 12d. 
   Son Thomas a dozen of my best silver spoons, best maser, silver piece, 12 pairs of the best sheets, the best bed with the apparel thereto, best pan, a coffer & my fourth girdle. Son William a dozen of silver spoons next to the best, a piece of silver, second maser, 12 pairs of sheets, the second bed with all thereto, best ketyll, a coffer & my fifth girdle.
   Daughter Margery six silver spoons of the best after my sons be served, a maser, six pair of sheets, the third bed with all thereto two table cloths & towels & my best girdle. The residue of all brass, laton & pewter to my daughters Margery, Agnes & Idev (Edith) equally between the. Agnes to have my second girdle & Idev the third girdle. Also each daughter a set of prayer beads & a coffer. Agnes & Idev each a bed with all thereto & Idev to be in the keeping of Thomas Hunte until she be 16 years of age & he shall have £6 during that time.
   Executors: John Gregory & Wm Adam. 
   The chief tenement where I live with 5 acres in Estfyld & part of Cavestonis Barn to be sold & the money to pay debts etc. Son Thomas 40 acres of land at Coldcott sometime Backlonds & Mr John Fisher, parish priest shall have the keeping of Thomas & the profit of the 40 acres of land & such houses & land that Thomas have until he is 20 years of age, the same John Fisher keeping Thomas to school during the time. Son Thomas to have a house next the Well in the street that Aynoo? holdeth & dwellith in & to the heirs of Thomas for ever. 
   Son William to have the tenement in which Peter Wynche late dwelled in & part of the house that Thos Hysted dwells in, 14 acres of land at Seevans Hill & 20 acres at Pongs Wents.
   John Stokton shall have the keeping of son William & the profits of the lands & tenements until William is 20 years of age.
   My house that Hillys dwellith in & Symonds barn 3 acres bought of Makett 2 acres of the Conyhills & one acre sometime Locas to be sold to pay debts & £5 to Margery & Agnes. I will that the George shall remain to John Gregory & his heirs for ever paying to my executors £14 & to the Church such money as I owe for the George 10s/-. Witnesses: John Nicholl, John Baker, Wm Marden, John Stokton.
