Thomas BAGOT - Will 24 April 1488

Thomas Bagot 24 April 1488. To the light of St Peter 12d; of the Holy Trinity 8d, of St Christopher 8d. To the Mass of Jesus 20s & to the chaplain of the Mass of Jesus 12d. To the parish priest 6/8 to each of the parish clerks 6d. To repair of bad roads where necessary in the parish 6/8, & repair of the nave of the Church 20s. 
   John Brette to have my best doublet; wife Margaret & Joan wife of Wm Denne & the heirs of James Bagot my masers equally between them. Wife Margaret all the contents of my house & my best sprot-net. 
   Executors to sell all my small boats with all the nets, cabins & chattels & with the money (1) pay debts etc (2) then one part of the money to wife Margaret & daughters Alice & Juliane & (3) for my soul. ExecutorsWife & John Hynscell?. Wife Margaret my chief tenement with 2 acres of ground for her life if a widow but if she marry then to have the same for 16 years afterwards to Alice & Juliane my daughters, but if they die then to be sold & the money for our souls. 
   The tenement where he lives to Richard Benton, & a garden with 3 rods of land at Westbroke to daughters Alice & Juliane for their marriage; If they die then to be sold & the money for my soul, wife & children’s souls by a priest for a year in the Church.
