Simon Alewey Sunday next after the Feast of St Luke the Evangelist (18 Oct) 1463. To the work of the nave of the church 3s 4d. To Thomas Caxton clerk there 10d & to Wm Brownflet 6d. Three acres of land to be sold situated at the Ripes-end, near the land of John Searles & the money to pay debts etc. Wife Joan to have in my chief house the hall (aula) with the two bedrooms (cameras) annexed to the head of the same on the northeast with a Kitchen also three acres of land at Hettisvale with half an acre of land at Bealdis called Hampton for her life, then to son John.
