Thomas Penreth, perpetual vicar of the parish church of Brencet in Kent. 22 Oct 1418. To be buried in the chancel of the Blessed Mary of the parish church of St Benedict at Pauleswarf, London, if it shall happen to me to die in the city of London. To William Barket citizen & tanner of London "penulam meam de Calabr" etc. To Alice wife of the said William my gown ‘de Sangwyn’ & a book which is called ‘Parisiens’ being amongst others in a certain chest in my room at Qeynhall in Oxford. 
To John Baker my kinsman two ‘quryueres’ with arrows in them. To Dom. Thomas Eyvegyll, chaplain, my uncle, my celer with three curtains pertaining to my bed at Oxford. To William son of the above John Baker my manual with psalter. I leave to William Pett ‘meo naturali’ all & singular my chattels in the North of England one book called ‘Bible’ one portiforium & one Jornale of the use of Sarum (& other things). Residue at disposition of executors, Wm Barker & John Baker. Master Roger Whelpdale, clerk, supervisor. Dated at London as above.
Proved before Mr John Estcourt, commissary [no date but amongst those of 1418] [PCC 42 Marche]
