the parish of Midle (Midley). 8 April 1475. To be buried in the
churchyard of Midle. To high altar 6s 8d. To Dom. Reginald parish priest
there 20d. To the parish clerk there 8d. To high altar of Ivechurch 6s
8d, of Snargate 3s 4d. To reparation of the church of Midle 13s 4d.
To John my son my best girdle & to David my son a girdle. To
Margarete my daughter my best covering. To the said Margaret &
Juliana my daughters two girdles, harnessed. To agnes att Stone daughter
of John att Stone 20s. To John att Stone my kinsman 40s. To Thomas Aleyn
£5. To John Chamber 6s 8d. To Thomas Hode my servant two bullocks. To
Clement Aleyn my servant one bullock. To Agatha Hode my servant 3s 4d.
To Henry Bate & John Leighe 20s.
Executors: my wife Agnes & John Leigh. Last will: 8 April 15 Edward
4. My feoffees to enfeoff John & David my sons when they come to 16
years in my lands & tenements & they shalle take the profits
meantime & I will that Henry Bate have the custody of the said John
my son until he be 16, and my wife & John Leigh of David my son
until he come to 16. I will that Johana my mother have & hold for
her life all lands & tenements which came to me on death of John att
Stone my father.
