Clement Baker of the parish of Seint Martyns in Romeney, 12 January 1515. To be buried in the parish churche of Saint Martins before the Image of our Lady in the north side of the same churche. To high altar 7s 4d. To our Lady lyght there 3s 4d. To light of Saint Mighell 5s. The Crosse lighte their 5s. Light of Saint Katheryne 3d. To the lyghts of Saint Petre & Saint Anne either of them 3s 4d. To the reparacons of the churches of Saint Nicholas & Saint Lawrence in Romene either of them 13s 4d. A preest to syng in the church of Saint Martyn at our Lady aulter £7.6.8. 
My executors shall delyver to Sr Thomas Penyston and Xpofer???? Hendfeld to bestowe in maner afore reherced. To thospytall of Saint John in Romene 12 ells of canvas to make shytez for poore people to ly in. To Rychard Wyllmott my servant 2 kyne & 26s 8d. To John Froste & John Frost sonnes of Henry Frost 4 ewes. To Clement my godsonne & servant 12 ewes at fest of St Michaell. To Alyce my wif an hundreth marc & all my household stuff, a weane, 2 cople of oxen, 2 cople of mares, eight kyne, an hundreth ewes, 10 quarters of whete, 12 quarters of barley, the oon halfendele of my hoggs & all my pultrey. To Isabell my doughter wif of Thomas Godfraye of Lydde an hundreth marc & £20 in money. 
I will my executor shall bye a coope for the parish church of Saint Martins to value of £6. A preest to syng at our Lady aulter in Saint Martins churche for 5 yeres. Executors: Thomas Godfray & Thos Glover. Present: Sr Thomas Penyston, preest, Wm Pyx & John Holl. Last Will: 13 January 1515. John Hockett, Richard Bursell, Wylliam Bedyll and Robert at Woode my feoffees of all my lands etc. 
They shall suffer Alyce my wyf to occupye my mesuage in St Martyns aforesaid that I dwell in & a barne with the close purchased of Thomas Gregory, 7 acres in Hoope bought of Agnes Mosewell, 7 acres in Blakmanston bought of John Hooll & 40 acres in Newchurche purchased of Henry Jamis. After her decease to Isabell my doughter wif of Thomas Godfray of Lydde. After decese of Alyce my wif Isabell my doughter shall pay unto the churchwardens of the church of St Martyns yerely 26s 8d for ever towards reparacions & other necessaries out of the 40 acres in Newchurche that I bought of Henry Jamys.
