Thys ys the laste testament of me JOHN MAYNE thelder made at Whitsontyde in the 32 yere Henry VIII. My body to be buryed in the North chaunsell of Biddynden [Biddenden] in Kent.
And where long before the makyng herof I have geven to John my sonne all my movables in one Indenture of Inventorye he to have it according vnto my gifte.
Itm. Wt oute pompe I will be done for me charytably at my buryng day £4 and at my monethes day £6.
To Margaret my doughter my converlett in her keping and 40s.
To Gregorye Raygate and his wife 40s; Mathew Ragate my godsonne 6s. 8d.
I will that Stevyn Roger, Thomas Castell and Thomas Hernden cording to an Indenture Remayning in the handes of the said Thomas Castell for the distributing of twelve browne loves wekely, twenty yere next after my decease be trulye parfour- ide wt the yerly rent of 53s. 4d. comyng out yerely of Walter Hernden Londes, gentylman.
Item for mending and making of Horsdens in Byddynden £40.
I make my sonne John my sole executour.
In wittnes herof I have written this testament with myne owen hande. me Johannem Mayne
