RICHARD HUNT 7 September 1483. To be buried where it shall please god or in the cemetery of Frothinden. To the light of St. Christofer there 4d. To the lights of Saints Margaret and Katherine there 4d. To the high altar of Langlee 16d., to the light of Holy Cross ther 16d., to the light of the Blessed Mary there 16d., to the light of St. Lawrence 16d. I leave to the said church of Langlee a torch price 6s. 8d. To the reparation of the same church 3s. 4d. To the Brothers of Lessenham 20s. to pray for me. To the Brothers of the House of Ailesford 3s. 4d.
To Elizabeth my daughter my bed. Residue I leave to my executors viz John Berowe Richard Turnor and James Baker. [Latin]
Last will: For 5 masses for my soule, my fadre, my moder and all cristen soules 33s. 4s. Twelve power maydens to have eche 12d. to her mariage, 12 men and women to have a pair of shoys. To Isabelle my doughter 13s. 4d. and her doughter Johanne my [?god] daughter shall have to her mariage 13s. 4d. and if the said Johanne decesse to remayne to hir moder.
To Elizabeth my doughter 5 marc and Agnes my doughter £3. Elizabeth my doughter shall have the value of my messuage wt all lands longing therto during a yere. The next yere I woll that Isabell my doughter shalhave the said messuage. The third yere I will that Agnes my doughter shall have the value of the said messuage as is before rehersed during a yere. Then aftre whiche 3 yeres complete and past I woll my feoffees of my said messuage &e that been Richard Culpeper Esqr of Goutherst and Thomas Lee of Otteham shall suffre John my sonne to occupie and have the value &e keping reparacions and pay the rent.
If it fortune my said sonne John any time to be maryed the said feoffees shal make a state to said John of and in two peces of Lon of 5 acres lying togedir in Langeley and Otteham west, north and south to the lands of the heirs of Sr. William Hampton Knight.
