THOMAS CATCHPOOLE of the parrishe of Smarden in Kente Wollyn weaver late servaunte to Mr. Waters of Laynham, gent. 2nd March first yere of the reigne of our Soueraigne Lady Queen Mary 1553. To be buried in the churche yarde of Saincte Margaretts parrish within the Citee of Westminster.
To John Norrice of debte due vnto hym £7. Rest to John Arundell to dispose as he shall think best for my soule helthe, whom I make my sole executor.
Witness: John Redmayne of Westminster, scrivener the writer hereof, Richard Gardener and Richarde Golly.
Proved before Dean and Chapter of Canterbury 4th March 1553 by John Arundell executor. (P.C.C. 27 Tashe)
