JOHN ENGEHAM of Gret Charte in Kent Esquier 22 Marche 1514. To be buried in the churche of Gret Charte in the myddell passe next vnto my Father.
Vnto Julyan Engeham my doughter £100 to her mariage so that she be guyded and rulyd by her mother and her frends.
Residue to Alice my wiyf and executrice wt George Lowys, they to dispose for the welthe of my soule.
Last will: My feoffes shall suffre Alice my wif to take and receyve £25 during her naturall lyfe out of my maner of Morys and all other landes within the Wallande and newlande as by a deed made and sealed to Edward Guldeford and other for the joynter of the said Alice it dothe appeir. Residue of my lands my feoffes take for 12 yeres tyll the tyme my son come to the age of 24 he being the meane season honestly found to scole and other things that to hym be nedefull. I make the Reverende Fader in God my Lord of Canterbury ouerseer.
