THOMAS HYNXSTENDE of the parish of Saint Thomas thappostell of Wynchelsee, 21 September 1545. My body to the earth. Towarde the reparacion of the glasse wyndowe in the high chauncell agenst the sacrament 20s.
To Philip and Mary my doughters to either £30 at 22. My brother in lawe Godard Henman the custody of the said money. Anne my wife. The Children of my suster Annes Alice Henxstend doughter of Walter H: my base brother. The children of Elyn Henxstend the wife of John Converse of Winchelsee. To my sister Joane £3. 6. 8. and the profite of my house in the parish of Appuldore in the East lane of the said parish. Anne Henman my wifes suster 40s. at her mariage.
Margaret Knell the wife of Thomas Bedyll 20s.
To Mercye Garrard my wifes kynnesman 40s. Parnell Lawrence my suster Jonys doughter 40s. at her mariage. To Joane Bowdon and Julian Bordon children of my suster Annes 20s. To George Howseley my servant 20s. To Elyn wife of John Converse 26s. 8d. Elizabeth Putnam my servant 20s. at mariage.
Memorandum that 29 October 1545 Thomas Hynxstend of Wynchelsea lying at the signe of the Tabberd in the parish of Saint Saviours in Southwark in the presence of Philipp Chate, Goddard Chapman, George Garrard, Godard Haymon and other did declare that he had made his will written wth his own hande and constituted Agnes his wife sole executrice.
