ROGER HARLAKYNDEN, 10 May 1520. To be buried in the chauncel of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Roodechurch. To the light of the Blessed Mary 6s. 8d. I leave to the said church "a sute of golde vestments wt my armes vpon them enbrowderd".
A priest to sing for me, Margaret my consort and the souls of William and Alice my father and mother.
I leave Elizabeth H. Anne H. and Margaret H. 300 marcs. To William Eton 40s. To Peter White and John Wolff 40s. if in my service at the time of my death. Alice Harlakynden and Thomas Harlackynden my son to be executors. [Latin except description of vestments].
Last will: of landes &e in Wodechurch and the litell More and Hammmys Medes the said Thomas to have and holde said landes and for default to remayne to Robert H. Peter H. and Alisaunder H. Robert Harlakynden to have all the landes &e I gave to Alice my wife for her joynter. If Alisaunder will be a prest he to have an annytie of £10 by the yere from the said landes to fynde him to scole and lernyng vnto suche tyme that he be promoted to a benefice prebendar or som other promcion spirituall to the yerely value of £20 by the yere or Robert and Petir to have the part of the said Alesaunder.
Yf Robert, Peter and Alisaunder dye without issue male then Thomas H. to have all the forsaid londes.
I will Thomas H. paye yerely an anuytie of 20 marcs owt of Wodechurch for the mariage of Elizabeth, Anne and Margaret my doughters.
My executors to pestowe 10s. for the soule of John Kyng.
