RICHARD POSSE of Halden in Kent, 1 October 1556. To be buried in the churcheyarde of the parish church of or Ladye in Halden. £10 to Julyan my wief and thone half of my houshold stuff and three of my best keyn To my sonne John Posse one cowe. To my sonne Edward Posse two weanners. To Stephyn Posse my sonne £6. 13. 4. To Margaret Posse my doughter 13s. 4d. To Mr. Fane my landelord my baye ambling colte or the gray mare whiche he will have.
To Alice Dennyce my servaunte nowe my best gowne.
Residue to Thomas Posse my sonne and executor, and overseer John Hall of Halden.
Witness: Sr. Peter Hall parson of Halden, John Hall, Richard Bennet and William Hoigges.
