WILLIAM VALLEY, of the parish of Boxley, 16 March 1511. To be buried in the churchyard of the parish church. To the reparation of the church 5s. To the reparation of the lights there 12d. viz the lights of the Holy Cross, Blessed Mary and Saint James.
I leave to Isabella Colman my servant 40s. To John Barre two quarters of malt. To the Abbot of the Monastery of Boxle 10s. To each monk being a priest 20d., to each other young monk 8d. To Robert Hedcrome monk, 10s. to celebrate a trentall of masses. To Reginald Bakner 6s. 8d. Residue to Johan my wife and I make her executrice.
Witnesses: Christofer Danyell, vicar of the parish church of Boxley, William Snilgare Robert Randolf. (Latin)
