JOHN KEMBAR of Abbey Gate within the ‘privelegium’ and liberty of the Monastery of the Blessed Mary Virgin of Boxle. 28 October 1489. To be buried in the Conventual Church of the Monastery before the image of the Blessed Mary of Pity.
I leave to Brother John Aylesford my confessor, 20d. I leave to Alianore my daughter when she comes to full age 53s. 4s. To Benedicta my daughter when she comes to full age 53. 4d.
Residue to Katherine my wife and to be executrice and Master William Coole, William Ensing and John Denham supervisors.
Witnesses, Syr. John Aylesford, my confessor, John Bray, John Waryn, William Ive and Henry Person.
Proved 11 January 1489 by Katherine relict. (P.C.C. 43 Milles)
