THOMAS KENT, doctor of each Law and Citzen of the City of London, 19 January 1468. To be buried in the church of St. James, Garlekehith in the Vintry next Isabell late my wife.
To Johan my wife £800 in money £500 in silver plate £200 at 3s. 4d. le vnce and of the debt of Sir Richard Earl of Warwick and Sarum £100. To the said Johan my missale for her life and after her death to remain to the Chantry in the church of Hedecron in Kent called Kents Chaunterye.
To the said Chantry £10 to amend necessaries and to be distributed according to the discretion of Master Robert Kent my brother. To Isabelle daughter of the said Johan my wife to her marriage £20. To William Tylghman £20. To Sir John Heynes clerk brother of the said Johan my wife 10 marcs. To James Potter my servant £13. 6. 8. To William Thomson my servant 100s. To Lewis my boy 66s. 8d. To Johan my servant £4. To Agnes Hubert my servant £4. To William Baylly late my servant 20s. To Thomas Cook otherwise called Johnson late my servant. To John now my cook 10s. To Alice niece of Isabell my wife deceased £4. For ‘exequies’ to be had for the soul of Johan Homersham 20s. To Jenyn at Hedrone 20s. 
To the prior and Convent of Ledys in Kent my great silver cup and I wish that there be graven in the bottom of the said cup at my expense a little Image of St. Thomas the Martyr with these words "This is Saint Thomas Welle". to the Minister and brothers of Modynden, of the order of the Holy Trinity to pray for me 40s. To the gild of the Holy Trinity at Lynne in Norfolk £6. 13. 4. To the wife of Thomas Baker my sister 40s. I leave £20 to be distributed by my brother Master Robert Kent, between "cognatos et qgnatos meoo" I leave 40s. to the repair of the public streets and ways in the parish of Langley in Kent. I leave £100 to make ‘les orfreys of cloth of gold latel given to the church of St. James aforesaid, by the Dean of St. Severin, for one suit of vestments and twelve copes of Bawdekyn.
I leave and dispose of my books underwritten for the use of the Officials of the Dean and examinators, advocates and procurators of the Court of Canterbury under the condition that within a year from my death they provide a proper and secure place for the custody and conservation of the books in the City of London next the Cathedral church of St. Paul at which place the said Court of the Officials, Dean, examinators &e. and others masters of Canon and Civil Law Doctors and Bachilors can coveniently have access at proper times. And if within the said year this is not done then the Warden and Fellows of All Souls College, Oxford, shall have the books for the use of the Fellows and Students of that college in their Library:

His lands in the City of London in Kent and in Lenn Esiscopi Norffolk. Johan his wife for her life his tenement in the parish of St. James which he dwells in except that his executors shall have two little houses (oomos) within the said tenement called ‘le Countor’ and ‘le Study’ and of these Richard Langport or William Tylghman to have the keys. After her death to be sold.
If Sir Richard, Earl Ryvers, within one year after his death pay for the said manors to his executors £360 in full satifaction of the agreement between the said Lord Ryvers and himself, his wife to have the same. If Simon Pigot and Thomas Sampson of Lenn Epi do not pay all the dett then his executors to sell his tenement in that town.
Johan his wife, master Richard Langport and William Tylghman to be executors.
Thomas, Bishop of Rochester and Master Robert Kent his brother supervisors.
