26 May 1509, Robert Whitby otherwise called Robert Durham. To be buried in parish church where I shall departe. One hunded masses at Scala Celi at Westminster for me and for theym that the goods came of that is to sey Robert Durham and Symon Durham and Margery his wif last mynstering the same goods and landes which were given me by my fader Symon Durham and Julyan my moder.
To high altar of Cranbroke 3s. 4d. To high altar of Goodeherst 3s. 4d. To the bielding of the parisshe churche off crambroke where the parisshens thinke nedefull to be don 13s. 4d.
To Margaret Smythcott my susters doughter £3. 6. 8. To Alice Marden in the parish of Townbridge in Kent 13s. 4d. To my suster Elizabeths doughter Anne Galyon late the wife of Alexander Galyon Sergeaunt o the Kyngs caryage borne at Beverley in Yorkshire 26s. 8d. To the sonnes of my suster Margarete dwelling in the parish of Mestham in Sutherey 20s.
To the Chapell of Seynt Spirite wt oute Temple Barre of London for reparacons there to be doon 13s. 4d.
Executors John Smythcott, mercer, my susters son of Thomas Mille, mercer, of London and they shall sell such londs as I have in the parishe of Crambroke to fulfilling my will.
