20 August 1500. William Cosscheman of Cranebroke, clotheman. To be buried in the churcheyarde of Seynt Dunstone at Cranebroke. To the light of our blessed Lady 6s. 8d. To the light of Ihu ther 12d., to the light of Seynt Antony there 12d., of Saynt Clement 12d. and of the Holy Trinitie at Milkhouse 12d. To the Gable at the West ende of the churche at Cranebroke £15. 6. 8. To Sir Thomas Mascall, parisshe priest of Cranebroke 12d. To John Hopper, parisshe clerk 4d. To thamendyng of fowle wayes betwene Stapleherste and Wyntonshille 20s., and betwene Hancoks mylle and Cranebroke 40s. To Johanne doughter of Henry Elly to hir mariage 6s. 8d.
To Agnes Skorme toward her mariage 13s. 4d. To Denyse Harman do. 6s. 8d. To Benett Euerynden do. 6s. 8d. To Isabell my wif all my housholde as it standith except my counter in the parlur forthwith all the tables, trestells and formes belonging to the hall and parlur. Also except my grete cawdron and a grete trevett.
To Thomas Cosscheman and Laurence C. my sonnes the residue and they to be executors, and Alexander Cortropp of Cranebroke and John Karkereigge of Milkhouse ouerseers. To Elizabeth doughter of John Hamon to hir mariage 3s. 4d.
Last Will: I will that Isabell my wife have all the chambers ouer my new parlur with easement in the kechen and bakehouse wt free goyng and comyng vnto the water and to have a rom to sett hir woode.
All my londs &e she to have 40s. of my Mylle lying in Farly and Loose. John Cosscheman my sonne my tenement and mylle in Farley and Loose and he to pay Isabell my wiff. Also he to pay Symon Cosscheman his brother £40. Thomas Cosscheman my sone my tenements in the parish of Cranebroke and he to pay to Lawrence C. and Edward C. my sonnes £40 each.
