WILLIAM LEYCETRE, citizen and felmonger of London 12 December 1450. To be buried in the church of St. John upon Walbroke under the bell-tower there next the grave where the body of Ralph Wilts late citizen and felmonger of London lies buried.
Torches at my burial two to the said church
of St. John and other to the church of Saint Faith of Maidstone in Kent to burn at the time of the ‘leuacionis Corporis Xpi’. To the nuns of St. Elene of London to say placebo and dirige 3s. 4d. To John Wihale felmonger 3s. 4d. To John Dene felmonger 3s. 4d. To Thomas Goldwyn citizen and felmonger of London to be my executor 13s. 4d. Residue to Margarett my wife and she to be principal executor with Thomas Goldwyn.
Dated at London. To the work (fabrice) of the Cathedral church of St. Paul 3s. 4d.
John Bruer, rector of the said church of St. John to be supervisor. (Latin)
