25 July 1556. George Symson citizen and free mason of London. To be buried in the parishe churche of Seynt Peter in Westchepe wherof I am a pisshener. Amonge the poore people of the parish orells where £13.6.8.
   To John Symson sonne of George Symson of London, laborer all suche leases as I have as well within the Citie of London and the suborbes of the same as ellswhere.
   Unto George Symson laborer aforesaid all my lands in Westram (Westerham) in Kent nowe in the holdinge of a Butcher duringe my yers and tyme therin. If he die then to John Symson sonne of the saide George.
   My will is that the above £13.6.8. shalbe given to the governors and rules of the Hospitall called the late Grey Friers in London towardes the helpe and mayntence of the same shortly after the daie of my decease. To the Companye of Fremasons to be bestowed at the haull upon a recreaceon to them that bringe my bodie to the arthe 20s and 40s to the comen boxe of the same Companye.
   To Thomas my late apprentice 20s. To John myne apprentice 20s. As consernye my two houses or tenements with shoppes, cellars, sollers and all their appurts in Gutter lane in the parishe of Seynt Peter in West chepe I will the same remayne according to a dede of feoffement so that after the decease of Margaret my wief and William her sonne I will it shall remain to John Symson sonne of the said George Symson laborer and his heires.
   Residue of all my goods moveable etc. plate etc. in two partes thone to remayne to my self and thother to Margaret my wief (Custom of thes honorable Citie).
   I make Willyam Calton paynterstayner and Thos West freemason citizens of London exors and Alexannder Mason citizen and Babor and Surgeon of London overseer.
   Witnesses Thos Marshall salter, Thos Dalker baker, Martyn Gowsse and Robert Davyson crivener citizens of London.
   Probate 2 Oct 1556 by Wm Calton and Thos West exors.
